Parliament recently released shs200 million for each member to purchase cars. This came at the moment when the country is struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic that sent the country into the second lockdown which led to many people closing their businesses.
Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya has decided to donate the car money to the voters in the Kawempe constituency by providing food and basic needs to pass them through this deadly lockdown.
He also said that “I will inject the money into projects which will help develop his people other than buying a car”.
Hon. Ssegirinya Mohammed recently opened a well-equipped hospital for his people, bought two ambulances, opened up a savings project called “Segi Box” and bought motorcycles for his people to get them out of poverty.
