Four Officials in the Office of The Prime Minister have been arrested over procuring and purchase of sub standard relief items meant for Kasese Floods victims by the State House Anti Corruption Unit headed by Col. Edith Nakalema.
According to The Colonel, the arrested include Godfrey Kayima, Henry Agaba Tumwine, Esther Odongo and Rose Nakabogo.
These are among the nine individuals who have been under investigations by the state house anti-corruption unit.
The above procured and purchased 40 tonnes of Posho, 20 tonnes of beans, 2 tonnes of sugar, 2,000 tents, 1,350 jerrycans, 1,000 basins 100 cartons of soap, 100 blankets, 100 mats and 1,000 mosquito nets.
