Nateete Police Station Boss Out

The Officer in Charge Nateete Police Station in Kampala has been fired.
Information on desk claim ASP Francis Kidega was fired last night and recalled back to Naguru police headquarters for redeployment.
Whereas Kidega’s crime is not named in a message recalling him from Nateete, insiders say his sacking is in connection to the double incident in his area of operation.
The first incident, sources say was a raid on Best Hotel, Busega by the alert squad in which revelers were arrested.
The raid was on the instruction of Police Director in Charge Operations, AIGP Edward Ochom, after it emerged that Best Hotel was operating normally under the watch of senior officers at Nateete. Against the above background, alert squad was deployed to raid the hotel.
Sources say that the second incident that led to Kidega’s sacking happened a few meters away from Nateete town, at a bar. A businessman was shot dead allegedly by an officer attached to the CMI whom sources say was in the company of a city court bailiff. The shooting happened over a woman and bar owner identified as Patience.
Patience has since been arrested to help with the probe.
